Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, abuse promotions, or exploit the free tier is prohibited and may result in suspension of all associated accounts without refund.

VoxScriber uses a credit-based system called "cycles." Each cycle represents 15 seconds of processed audio. Credits are consumed upon successful transcription only -- failed transcriptions do not deduct credits.

Credits from subscription plans (monthly or yearly) reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused subscription credits do not roll over. Credits from one-time purchases never expire and remain available until consumed.

We shall not be liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including: natural disasters, government actions, wars, terrorism, pandemics, internet or power outages, strikes, or failures of third-party services (cloud providers, payment processors, AI engine providers).

Your use of VoxScriber is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By using our services, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

Uploaded files are retained for the duration necessary to complete transcription and for a limited retention period thereafter (typically 7 days for retry purposes). Transcriptions are retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, all personal data and content are permanently removed within 90 days.

9.1 Uptime Commitment

We strive to maintain platform availability of 99.5%, excluding scheduled maintenance periods (notified 48 hours in advance) and force majeure events. Unplanned downtime will result in proportional extension of active subscription periods when applicable.

9.2 Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features at any time to improve user experience, security, or performance. Substantial changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' advance notice.

To maintain service quality for all users, we enforce a fair use policy. Excessive usage that impacts overall platform performance may result in temporary throttling. We consider excessive use to be more than 10,000 minutes per month or sustained 100% resource utilization for more than 7 consecutive days.

You may request complete account deletion and data erasure at any time. This process is irreversible and results in permanent loss of all data, history, and account settings. We will process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm completion via email.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, where VoxScriber's parent company, Flam Servicos em TI, is incorporated and operates. This includes, but is not limited to, the Brazilian Civil Code, Consumer Protection Code (CDC), General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and the Internet Civil Framework (Marco Civil da Internet).

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VoxScriber, superseding all prior agreements, communications, or understandings related to the subject matter hereof.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid one that best preserves the original intent.

The failure to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms does not constitute a waiver and may be exercised at any time. Tolerance of any non-compliance does not imply modification or novation of obligations.

You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights upon 30 days' prior notice.
