Common Export Issues

Exported file has strange characters

Possible causes: Incorrect character encoding, language not supported by the editor.

Solutions: Use UTF-8 when opening the file, try a different text editor, check language settings.

Timestamps misaligned in SRT/VTT

Possible causes: Audio with long pauses, manual video editing after transcription.

Solutions: Re-export the transcription, manually adjust offsets, use a dedicated subtitle editor.

DOCX doesn't open correctly

Possible causes: Old version of Office, missing fonts.

Solutions: Update Microsoft Office, use Google Docs as an alternative, export as PDF.

For best compatibility, export as TXT if you only need the text, or as JSON if you need to integrate with other systems. For professional documents, DOCX is the best choice.
