How to Choose the Right Plan in VoxScriber
Practical comparison of VoxScriber plans: Free, Lite, Advanced, Pro, and Premium, plus pay-as-you-go hour packages and business plans. Which makes sense for your audio volume.
The choice depends on three questions: how many hours of audio you transcribe per month, whether you prefer to subscribe or pay per use, and whether you need specific features (Ultra engine, API, team). This guide summarizes the options with prices in reais — in other countries, prices appear in your currency at checkout.
Individual subscriptions (monthly)

Remember: the same cycles yield more minutes with the Standard engine (1 cycle/min vs. 4 with Premium). The Pro plan, for example, is equivalent to 20 h in Premium or up to 80 h in Standard. Understand the conversion in Understanding cycles.
What else changes beyond volume:
- Export formats: Free = PDF + TXT; Lite = + DOCX, SRT, and VTT; Advanced onward = + JSON;
- Speaker detection: on Free, the screen shows up to 2 speakers; from Lite onward, unlimited;
- Ultra engine (ElevenLabs): from Pro onward;
- Transcription API: from Pro onward;
- AI features (summaries, meeting minutes, chat, translation): monthly quotas grow with the plan;
- Queue priority: high on Pro and above.
Annual plan = 3 months free. Annual plans cost the equivalent of 9 monthly payments (e.g., Lite annual R$ 89.10) and credit the whole year's cycles at once.
Hour packages (no subscription)
For occasional demand: pay once and use whenever you want — package cycles never expire.

Packages allow files up to 10 hours / 5 GB and all export formats. There's also custom balance: from R$ 5.00, at R$ 0.075 per cycle (R$ 0.30 per Premium minute).
Businesses and special cases
- Business plans (from R$ 149.90/month, 50 h and 5 members): shared cycle pool, team library, boleto and invoice under CNPJ. See Organizations and members or contact sales.
- Attorneys affiliated with CAA/OAB: there is a free partner plan with 720 cycles/month (equivalent to Lite).
Rules that apply to all paid plans
- Unused balance accrues at renewal, up to a cap of 2× the plan's cycles;
- Upgrades take effect immediately (you receive the difference in cycles); downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle;
- Pay-as-you-go purchases never expire, even if you cancel your subscription later.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a trial period?
The trial is the free plan itself: 120 cycles renewed every 30 days, no card required. There's currently no additional monthly limit — what regulates usage is your cycle balance and the 30-minute per-file limit.
Subscription or hour packages?
Recurring use (every month) → subscription, which is cheaper per hour. Occasional demand → package, which never expires.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades are immediate and prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. See Changing plans.
What payment methods are available?
PIX (pay-as-you-go and subscriptions via PIX Automatic), credit card, and, for businesses, boleto. Details in Paying with PIX and Paying with card.
