Meet the VoxScriber Dashboard
Tour of the VoxScriber dashboard: new transcription, library with search and folders, editor with sync player, Ask your library, billing, organization, and settings.
After logging in, you land on the dashboard — that's where everything starts: sending audio, tracking transcriptions, organizing your library, using AI, and managing your plan and account. This article is a quick map of where everything is.
New transcription
The dashboard's main button. From it, you can:
- Upload files (drag and drop, or multiple selection in batch);
- Record directly in the browser;
- Paste a YouTube link or media URL;
- Choose engine, language, and speaker detection before starting.
Complete step-by-step guide in How to make your first transcription.
Library (your transcriptions)
The list of everything you've transcribed, with:
- Search by content and file name — works even with encrypted content;
- Folders and subfolders for organization (no folder limit per plan);
- Status of each job (processing, completed, retrying).
When you open a transcription, you enter the workspace: sync player with the text, editor (manual save via button), rename speakers, AI features (summary, minutes, translation, chat), export, and link sharing.
The audio for each transcription is available in the player for 30 days after processing. The text is yours and is not deleted — unless you set up automatic retention in your privacy preferences.
Ask your library
An AI search across all your transcriptions at once: you ask a question ("what was decided in Tuesday's meeting?") and get an answer with citations from the excerpts used. The monthly quota varies by plan (3 questions/month on the free plan, unlimited on Pro and above). See Search your library.
Billing and plan
Cycle balance, current plan, upgrade/downgrade, one-off purchases, and transaction history. See Understand cycles and Change plan.
Organization (companies)
If you're part of a company on the platform, the organization area appears: team cycle pool, members and usage, shared library, and invoices. Members use the company's plan, not their personal one. See Organizations and members.
Settings
- Profile: name, password (email is read-only — changes are made via support);
- Sessions: see connected devices (up to 5 simultaneous) and disconnect any of them;
- Privacy: retention of transcription text and data requests (LGPD/GDPR);
- Security: two-step verification (MFA).
Other areas
- Affiliate: referral program dashboard, with link, coupon, and commissions;
- WhatsApp: number linking is done via a notice/modal in the dashboard itself — see Send audio via WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I see a transcription I just submitted?
In the library, at the top of the list. While it's processing, it appears with the in-progress status — you don't need to keep the page open.
Can I move multiple transcriptions to a folder?
Yes, the library supports folders and subfolders with counters. Folder names are unique per level.
What happens if I edit the text and forget to save?
The editor shows an "unsaved changes" warning. Text saving is manual; only renaming a speaker saves immediately.
Can I use the dashboard on my phone?
Yes, the dashboard works in your phone's browser — and for everyday use, the most practical channel is WhatsApp. See App, mobile, and PWA.
