Export Transcriptions to Word, Google Docs, YouTube, and More
How to take your transcription to other tools: DOCX for Word/Google Docs, SRT/VTT for YouTube and video editors, JSON for developers, and a public link.
A finished transcription is rarely the end of the work — usually it becomes a document, a caption, or data in your system. This guide shows which format to use for each destination and what each plan unlocks.

A format outside your plan appears with an upgrade badge on the transcription screen.
Word and Google Docs → DOCX
The DOCX comes with each segment in a paragraph, with a time stamp [início - fim] and the speaker's name. Download and open it directly in Microsoft Word; in Google Docs, upload the file to Drive and open it — the conversion is automatic. Custom speaker names you set in the transcription are used in the document.
For pasting anywhere (email, CRM, simple editor), TXT is the universal format — available even on the free plan.
Subtitles for YouTube and video editors → SRT and VTT
- SRT: the format accepted by YouTube (Video Details → Subtitles → Upload file) and by most editors (Premiere, DaVinci, CapCut).
- VTT: the format of web players (the HTML5
<track>tag).
Subtitles are split into blocks of no more than 30 seconds and 80 characters, with a break when the speaker changes.
SRT/VTT depend on the transcription having time stamps. If the downloaded file comes empty, the transcription has no timestamps — in that case, generate a new transcription with a cloud engine (Premium/Standard/Ultra).
Systems and spreadsheets → JSON
JSON (Advanced plan and above) brings the full structure: segments, words with timings, speakers, quality metrics, and metadata. It's the right format for feeding databases, BI, or any post-processing. For end-to-end automation, use the API with the formats parameter.
Sharing with people who don't have an account → public link
Instead of exporting, you can generate a public link for the transcription:
- The link never expires — it stays valid until you revoke it.
- You choose whether the summary appears and whether the audio is kept in the player.
- The public page shows only the first name of the person who shared it and has no download buttons — anyone who needs the file must receive the export directly from you.
Receiving the files on WhatsApp
With the linked number, the transcription arrives in the conversation with links to the files in your plan's formats. The links are valid for 7 days; after that, download from the website.
FAQ
How do I add subtitles to YouTube?
Download the SRT and upload it in Video Details → Subtitles → Upload file. YouTube syncs using the timestamps in the file itself.
Does DOCX open in Google Docs?
Yes — upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Docs; the conversion is automatic, keeping timings and speakers.
Why don't I see the JSON option?
JSON is available from the Advanced plan onward. On Lite you have PDF, TXT, DOCX, SRT, and VTT.
Can someone with my public link download the PDF?
No. The public page is read-only (and has a player if the audio is preserved). Send the exported file if the person needs the document.
