Transcribe Audio via WhatsApp: Link and Use the Vox Bot
How to link your number and transcribe audio directly via WhatsApp with the Vox bot: 6-digit code, received formats, size limits, and free trial without an account.
Forward any audio to Vox, the VoxScriber bot on WhatsApp, and get the text back right in the conversation — along with the documents (PDF and other formats from your plan). The channel is available for all plans, including the free one, and it deducts the same cycles from your account.
Link your number (once only)
Open the link invite in the dashboard
Linking is done through a notice/modal in the dashboard itself — it's not under settings. Direct shortcut: open any dashboard page with ?vincular-whatsapp=1 in the address, or wait for the invite that appears after your first transcription.
Confirm with the 6-digit code
You receive a code on your WhatsApp and type it into the site. The code is valid for 5 minutes. You can also start from the bot itself (it sends a code for you to paste) or via a magic link sent to your email.
Done: send audios
Forward an audio (or record one right away) to the Vox number. It transcribes and replies with the text and files.
1 number = 1 account. If you link the number to another account later, it is moved — it stops working on the previous account.
What you get back
- The text of the transcription in the conversation (messages up to 4,096 characters, in blocks);
- The documents from your plan (e.g.,
transcricao.pdf), sent via a link valid for 7 days; - When more than one person is speaking, the text may include speaker names identified by AI.
Channel limits
- Media sent via WhatsApp: up to 50 MB per file (WhatsApp's own limit). Larger files: send them through the site;
- The same limits from your plan apply (duration per file, cycle balance, export formats);
- Company members use the company plan on WhatsApp too.

Anyone who sends an audio to Vox without an account gets 1 free transcription per number (audio up to 5 minutes, result in TXT + PDF). If the trial fails due to an error on our end, the courtesy is not used up. There is a global daily limit for trials — if it's reached, try again later.

I sent an audio and the bot asked me to link. Why?
Your number isn't linked to any account yet. Follow the link it sends or link from the dashboard (6-digit code).
The PDF link expired. Did I lose the transcription?
No — the transcription stays in your library on the site forever. Only the WhatsApp download link expires (7 days); download it again from the site.
Does a 1-hour audio work through WhatsApp?
It works if it fits in 50 MB (WhatsApp voice messages are compact). If it exceeds the size, use the site — the result appears in the same library.
My number is from another country. Can I use it?
Linking is by WhatsApp number and is not restricted to Brazil. Remember that limits and formats follow your plan as usual.
Does WhatsApp use different cycles than the site?
No — the cost is identical (same engines, same cycles).
