Create Account and Verify by Email or WhatsApp
How to create your VoxScriber account, verify via email link or WhatsApp code, and what to do when the verification email doesn't arrive.
Creating your account takes a minute and doesn't require a credit card. Verification is mandatory to send files — and can be done in two ways: via a link sent to your email or a 6-digit code on WhatsApp.
Ways to create your account
- Email and password — traditional signup at /register;
- Google, Facebook, or Apple — one click, and the account is born verified (no extra step).
Password requirements: at least 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, and a number. Very common passwords are rejected.
Fill in the signup form
Enter your name, email, and password at /register. Disposable (temporary) emails are not accepted, and the form suggests a correction when it detects a typo in the domain (e.g., "gmial.com").
Verify by email...
You'll receive a confirmation link valid for 24 hours. Once you click it, the account is verified and you're logged in right away. Didn't get it? Check spam and use the resend button (there's a 2-minute interval between resends).
...or verify via WhatsApp
On the verification screen, choose the WhatsApp option: you'll receive a 6-digit code on your number and type it on the site. This grants access the same way as a verified email. Each WhatsApp number can verify only one account.
Start transcribing
Every free account starts with 120 cycles (30 minutes on the Premium engine). Go to New transcription and upload your first file — step-by-step instructions are in How to make your first transcription.
Without verification, you can still log in, but the dashboard redirects to the verification screen and file uploads are blocked. Verify by email or WhatsApp to unlock everything.
Account security
- Two-factor verification (MFA/TOTP) optional, with backup codes;
- After 5 incorrect password attempts in 15 minutes, login is temporarily locked for security;
- You can view and close active sessions in settings (up to 5 simultaneous devices).
Frequently asked questions
I didn't receive the verification email. What should I do?
Check spam/junk, wait a few minutes, and use the resend option (2-minute interval). If you prefer, verify via WhatsApp — it has the same effect.
I entered the wrong email when signing up. Can I fix it?
Only within the first 48 hours and while the account isn't verified (with the correct password). After that, changing the email is done only through support — open a ticket.
I created my account with Google and now it says "incorrect password".
Accounts created with social login don't have their own password — sign in with the same button (Google/Facebook/Apple) you used when signing up. If you want to set a password, use "I forgot my password" with your account email.
Can I use the same WhatsApp number on two accounts?
No. A number verifies only one account. If the number has already been used, the system shows that the phone is in use.
The verification link expired.
The link is valid for 24 hours. Just request a resend on the login/verification screen to receive a new one.
