Delete My Account

How to permanently delete your VoxScriber account: required confirmation, automatic subscription cancellation, what happens to your data, and why the email cannot be reused.

Deleting your account is a permanent action: it ends subscriptions, removes your access, and anonymizes your data. Before proceeding, check whether what you want is simply to cancel your subscription (which keeps your account and files on the Free plan).

How to delete

1

Export what you want to keep

Download transcripts and, if you want a complete copy of your data, submit an export request first — see LGPD and GDPR. There is no recovery after deletion.

2

Confirm in the account area

In settings, deletion requires your password and typing the exact phrase "EXCLUIR MINHA CONTA" — this is intentional, to prevent accidental deletion.

3

Processing is immediate

Your subscriptions (card and automatic PIX) are canceled, the account is deactivated, and your identifying data is anonymized. In the mobile app, anonymization goes even further (clears document, phone, MFA, social links, and devices), and you receive a confirmation email beforehand.

The deleted email cannot be used to create a new account. The address is added to a permanent exclusion list (anti-abuse protection) — registrations with it are rejected in both regions. If there's a chance you'll come back, prefer canceling the subscription and keeping the account on the Free plan.

Frequently asked questions

I deleted my account and regret it — can I recover it?

No. Deletion is permanent, and the email stays blocked for re-registration. That's why we ask for a password + confirmation phrase.

I have an active subscription — do I need to cancel it first?

No: deletion cancels subscriptions automatically. But keep in mind there is no automatic refund for the current period — see the refund policy.

Do my one-off credits survive deletion?

No — deletion ends everything, including credit that would never expire. Use the credit beforehand, or just cancel your subscription and keep the account.

I'm a member of an organization — what happens to what I created there?

Content created in the company context belongs to it and is transferred to the organization's owner, not deleted with you.

I want to use the same email for a new account — is there any way?

The re-registration block is the rule. Legitimate cases may be evaluated by support, with identity validation.
