Print and Export PDF: Formatting and Languages
How to generate the transcript PDF (available on all plans), which languages the document supports, legal mode with line numbering, and the meeting minutes PDF.
PDF is the export format available on all plans, including the free one. The document comes in a professional A4 layout, with title, speakers, and timestamps — ready to print, archive, or attach to a case.
How to generate the PDF
Open the transcript
In your library, click the desired transcript.
Export as PDF
In the export menu, choose PDF. Saved edits and custom speaker names are included in the document.
Print or archive
Open the file and print directly from your PDF reader. The A4 layout is designed for accurate printing.
Document languages
The PDF labels and headers are generated in the language selected at export. The languages supported by the PDF template are: Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, and Arabic. Languages outside this list use the English template (the transcript text itself, of course, remains in its original language).
Need to deliver the document to someone in another country? Export the same content twice, changing the document language — it costs nothing and doesn't consume cycles.
Legal mode: line numbering
For forensic use, there is a legal mode that numbers the lines of the document (L1, L2, L3...) in both PDF and DOCX — the standard used to cite excerpts of transcriptions in court.
Legal mode doesn't have a button in the interface yet: it is activated by adding legal=1 to the export address. If you frequently need transcriptions with line numbering, contact support and we'll guide you step by step — and your request helps prioritize the button on screen.
Minutes in PDF (17 languages)
In addition to the transcript, the structured minutes generated by AI (hearing minutes, meeting minutes, interview report) can also be exported as PDF — in 17 languages, with on-demand translation. See AI Features.
Technical details worth knowing
- The PDF is rendered on the server with a consistent A4 layout — what you see is what prints.
- Partial transcripts (when the balance covered only part of the audio) generate a PDF with only the paid section.
- Exporting requires a verified account (email or WhatsApp).
