Mistake #1: the "saved web page"
The most common problem is not the file — it's the download. When downloading media from e-SAJ or PJe without being authenticated (or with an expired session), the portal returns the login page with the audio file name. The file looks like a .mp3/.asf, but inside it's HTML — and the platform detects and flags exactly that.
Checklist for a correct download:
Log in to the portal
Log in to the court portal and open the case before clicking the media link. If your session expired, log in again.
Download and check the file size
Real hearing recordings are several MB (often dozens or hundreds). A file of a few KB is almost certainly the login page — download it again.
Upload it as is
No need to convert: .asf, .wma, and similar formats are accepted, and audio extraction/conversion is automatic on the server.
