Pay with Card

How credit card payment works on VoxScriber: processing via Stripe, billing currency, name on the statement, and management through the billing portal.

VoxScriber subscriptions can be paid with a credit card, processed by Stripe — the same infrastructure used by major global services. The card is the only method available for subscriptions outside Brazil, and in Brazil it coexists with PIX.

What you can pay for with a card

  • Subscriptions (monthly and yearly): exclusively card at the Stripe checkout.
  • One-off purchases: checkout adapts to your region — in Brazil, card and PIX; in Portugal, card, SEPA, and Multibanco; in all other regions, card. Minimum amount: R$ 5,00 in Brazil, 0,50 in the local currency elsewhere.

The currency is determined by your account's region: real in Brazil, euro in the European Union/United Kingdom, and dollar in the rest of the world. An account outside Brazil is never charged in reais — see International payment.

The displayed price is the final amount — no extra tax is added at checkout. What your bank may charge separately is IOF/international transaction spread, if your card is charged in a foreign currency.

Managing your card subscription

If you pay with a card, you manage everything through the Stripe billing portal, accessible from the billing page in your dashboard: change your card, view invoices, and cancel your subscription. Cancellation is always possible — see How to cancel your subscription.

If renewal fails, you enter a grace period without losing your plan or credits, with email reminders — details in Renewal and lifecycle.

Name on your card statement

VoxScriber operates with two processing accounts (individual and legal entity, transitioning to CNPJ). Depending on when you subscribed, the issuer and descriptor that appear on your card statement may vary between these two accounts — the charge is legitimate in both cases, and nothing changes in the amount or the service.

Paying by card does NOT generate an automatic invoice. Due to a tax architecture decision, NFS-e is issued only for payments via PIX (individuals) and PIX/boleto (businesses). If you pay by card and need an invoice, contact support. See Invoice (NFS-e).

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept debit cards?

The Stripe checkout processes credit cards. In Brazil, the no-card alternative is PIX (one-off or PIX Automático for subscriptions).

Why was I charged in dollars/euros?

The currency follows your account's region: accounts outside Brazil pay in dollars or euros, never in reais. See International payment.

The name on my statement changed — was I charged by another company?

No. We operate two processing accounts (PF and PJ) during the migration to CNPJ; the service and the amount are the same. If in doubt, check the amount and date against your dashboard statement.

Where do I change my subscription card?

On the dashboard's billing page, open the billing portal (Stripe) and update your payment method.

I pay by card and need an invoice — what do I do?

The automatic NFS-e flow doesn't cover card payments. Open a ticket with your details (CPF/CNPJ) and support will guide you.
